When investigating home schooling programs, several questions arise about curriculum and requirements. We at Heritage Home Schooling Academy want to make your learning experience a pleasant one and help you earn a high school diploma from home.
- Parental Training Guide – This guide shows you how to use the home schooling programs. It includes information on administering diagnostic testing, setting up personalized learning centers, the student progress chart and, most importantly, the Christian home school curriculum.
- Complete Learning To Read home schooling programs are provided to kindergarten students.
- The Christian home school curriculum is prepared in five subjects – Math, English, Social Studies, Science, Word Building and Electives – for kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Diagnostic Testing – This test, administered by the parent without coaching, enables us to create the home schooling curriculum pack to custom-fit the child’s understanding in each subject so they can begin their home schooling programs. Diagnostic testing is available to students in the ninth grade and below.
- Modular System – This system of home education is built upon learning patterns. Within the modular system, new concepts are not introduced to the student until the present concept has been mastered. Concept by concept, or module by module, children’s home education programs are designed.
- Curriculum is issued on a quarterly basis (2.25 months). Upon request, a new quarter can be shipped.
- Phonics-based reading instruction is provided for home schooling students.
- Progress Report – Available to parents, student progress cards keep you informed of your child’s educational development.
- A Toll Free Help Line is available between 9:00 am and 4:30 pm (Central Standard Time) to help in academic areas and to answer any questions.
- Projection – This is available for freshman levels and above to explain the home schooling requirements needed to graduate from Heritage Home School Academy.
- Permanent Records, such as transcripts and validation of work performed, will be supplied at the home schooling office.
- Our Administrative Staff brings forth a combined 65 years of experience with this home schooling curriculum.
- A 10% Discount is offered to those in Christian service (Sunday School Teachers-Missionaries-Pastors) by the Home School.
- High School Diplomas are presented by the Academy upon completion of home schooling requirements.
- Your Quick Start Kit will launch the learning process immediately. The Kit includes: Introductory Brochure, Parent Training Guide And Activity Pack, Complete Set Of Diagnostic Tests (9th grade and below), Enrollment Application, Record Release Form, and Immunization Record.
